Falcao won't go for less than €60m
Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo insists the bidding to sign Radamel Falcao starts at €60 million
Right now he is the best number nine in world
football,” said Cerezo after Sunday's efforts took his total in an
Atletico shirt to 40 goals in 48 games. "But he still has a lot of
football to play.
"It’s the first time I’ve seen a player score five goals here. Christian Vieri and Milinko Patic got four, but never five.”
When asked about the possibility of Falcao moving elsewhere in the
January transfer window or the end of the season, the Atletico president

Time running out for Ancelotti at PSG
After stumbling through the last month, Paris Saint-Germain's 2-1
defeat in Nice - the birthplace of Garibaldi - on Saturday may have
signalled the beginning of the end for the Italian experiment at the
Parc des Princes.
Supposedly all-powerful PSG coming undone against relatively limited
opponents has become a familiar theme in recent weeks. Over the last
month they have been beaten at home by Saint-Etienne and nine-man
Rennes, while also being held to a draw in Montpellier.
That last result sparked, in coach Carlo Ancelotti's own words, a
"crisis", before wins against Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League and at
home to Troyes last weekend settled the mood around the club. But,
since then, PSG have been knocked out of th

Vettel’s triple crown
Sebastian Vettel did exactly what he needed to last weekend in Brazil to take 3 title— but what other moments helped the German elevate his status from champion to legend this season?
Vettel with three world titles, and is one of only three to have taken three
in a row. Each success has demonstrated his development as a driver and a
person, but this time the fitting 'baton transfer' between him and his
countryman, the retiring seven-time champion Michael Schumacher, seemed
to mark a coming of age.
In 2010, Vettel took his first title with a smash-and-grab raid as a
late run of form and a few lucky breaks saw him leapfrog his rivals at
almost the final turn of the season. Last year, with a dominant car, it
was far more controlled wi

Red Bull will use new-spec alternator
Renault
will switch Red Bull on to its newest specification of alternator for
the championship decider in Brazil following Mark Webber's failure in
the United States Grand Prix.
Webber suffered Red Bull's third alternator failure in a race this year at Austin, dropping him out of third position.
That problem prompted concerns from the team about that area of the
car, which has left engine partner Renault in no doubt that Red Bull
must switch to the newer spec for this weekend's Interla

Ukraine job
Former Ukraine striker Andriy Shevchenko has turned down an offer to manage the national team.
"I believe that today leading the national team of

statement published on the Ukrainian Football Federation's website.
"I hope the leadership of the Football Federation will understand my decision," he added.

Pedrosa sets the pace at ValenciaDani
Pedrosa set the pace as a dry afternoon on the second day of post-season
testing at Valencia allowed Marc Marquez and Bradley Smith to make
their premier class debuts.
For Valentino Rossi and Yamaha, however, the wait for dry weather running continues.
The team travelled overnight to Aragon in a bid to give the Italian
maximum seat time, only for difficult conditions to make the day an
effective write-off.
2012 champion Jorge Lorenzo also suffered a minor fall at turn 16, from which both he and his bike emerged unscathed.
The second day at Vale
